The Art Nouveau period flowed into the Art Deco period when the lines were cleaner and less sharp ("whiplash"). A single flower adorns this one (1) inch medallion - a flower so big, it overflows and the petals spill over the edge. I've tried to identify the flower, could be a clematis, a poinsetta yet that's the point of art deco, to stylize the motif and so I've entitled this one, Art Moderne.
Each Art Moderne flower medallion is handmade of bronze and is approximately 25mm (1 inch) - 28mm (1 and 1/8th inch). A 3mm opening at the top will allow you to add a jump ring or wire wrap so you can suspend it from your beadweaving, chain or cord.
